Hoya Lifestyle Lens Series - Every set of eyes deserves a personalized correction
The Lifestyle lens offers a semi-personalized progressive design, with the prescription partially shaped on the front and fully customized on the back to provide a noticeably clearer view in every direction.
The Lifestyle lens utilizes HOYA Free-Form Design technology to analyze eye rotation in order to map a unique lens design. Our Integrated Double Surface Design (IDSD) partially customizes the lens configuration using a standardized front surface component and a customized back surface component. HOYA's Free-Form Fabrication then shapes the back of each Lifestyle lens with diamond point cutting tools for a semi-personalized vision correction.
While IDSD is used to completely customize the ID lens, the Lifestyle lens features a standardized vertical component molded onto the front surface and a custom design shaped into the horizontal component on the back of the lens. Even with only partial customization, Lifestyle lenses provide a more personalized vision correction than any other design in the world.
HOYA's trusted LifeStyle progressive lens has been optimized into two new designs to provide even more customization options for patients. The iD LifeStyle 2 Clarity lens can provide enhanced performance for emerging presbyopes, while the iD LifeStyle 2 Harmony lens offers increased comfort for established presbyopes. Each new design features additional customization from the original LifeStyle lens.
iD LifeStyle 2 Clarity
Clarity is the dynamic progressive for beginning presbyopes with its primary focus on maximizing distance vision.
iD LifeStyle 2 Harmony
Harmony is the go-to progressive for experienced presbyopes needing the most comfortable distribution of powers across the primary viewing areas.
iD LifeStyle BENEFITS:
» Integrated Double Surface design technology with a standardized front surface component and a customized back surface
» Optimized for individual prescription
» Offers the widest, clearest, most natural fields of vision
» Eliminates "swimming" sensations for natural, effortless and stable vision in all directions
» Optimal vision at all distances
» Perfect transition between far and near vision
